Membership Qualifications:
All prospective members must hold a Reiki certificate or be able to demonstrate their ability and knowledge at each degree held.

Monthly Activities

Meetings are held each third Thursday at the Coummunity of Christ Church. Social time at 6:00 and the meeting begins at 6:30.
Treatments are offered first Thursday of the month at the Community of Christ Church, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Treatments are also offered at Rock Valley College Bell School Campus on Wednesday evenings, during the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters.

++++ SPECIAL EVENT: Reiki Energy International will host its 2nd Annual REI Health Fair & Expo ++++

The purpose of this organization is to provide leadership and growth for the advancement of Reiki. Reiki Energy International encourages greater awareness of Reiki throughout Northern Illinois and surrounding areas through a not-for-profit structure.

Membership is open to documented Reiki practitioners throughout the world. Reiki Energy International utilizes Reiki Energy for individuals within the community while offering educational and social opportunities to new and existing members.

Reiki Energy International currently operates as a professional and social Reiki organization and has received "Not For Profit" status in June of 2009. Current members include Reiki Masters and Reiki practitioners from all walks of life and many different countries. This core group has established membership guidelines and group goals that include performing community outreach and creating a community awareness of Reiki.

Other REI group activities include:

Holding quarterly organization meetings.
Creating public awareness of the organization.
Holding regular Reiki sessions for members and the general public.
Creating opportunities for social gatherings and networking.
Generating public awareness through trade shows and special events.
Providing Reiki session opportunities for those who can’t afford them.

Community Service: Reiki sessions are offered free to the general public at Community of Christ Church every first Thursday of the month at 6 p.m., and at Rock Valley College at the Bell Campus at Springbrook Road and Bell School Road in Rockford on Wednesday evenings during the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters.
